Enjoying from a 16oz can obtained at Vulgar about 3 weeks ago....
Poured about half the can into a small sniftah.... It's clear and bright golden in color. Has steady, active carbo and a frothy, rocky, off-white head. Started at about 2" with a hard pour, but it's slowly succumbing to gravity. There's also a decent bit o' lace left behind on the glass. Aroma is dry, bready and crackery. Has a bit of green fruit and candi sugar. It is quite smooth, with minimal prickle, and the body is a solid medium-plus.
The taste is spot-on for the style, imo. Has light sweetness with bready, crackery malt present. Then has a healthy amount of fruity esters, like notes of pear and green apple. Has a subtle spicy character with a little bit of peppery action. A solid, well-made Tripel, though a touch pricey at $10 for a 16oz can. Prosit!
