The appearance is about what one would hope for a Porter with its deep dark brown to near black color, modest tan head. and mahogany hues before the light.
Aroma of toffee malts, chocolate malts, dark bread, and a wisp of floral hops in the deep background.
Light mouthfeel.
Sweet chocolate and toffee malt taste upon first sip with a slight creamy and burnt character. It ends clean and crisp and slightly dry. A fine take on the style.
