Barrel aged in whisky barrels from a local distiller.
Opaque, black with a rust tan head of thin foam. Little retention or cling but carbonated as a head kicks up easily with a swirl.
Aroma is huge - whisky, scorched brown sugar, smoke, fresh cut firewood and a hint of maple.
Flavor is bold and the whisky character soft, just the wood and alcohol aspects, the flavor is all Imp stout front to back.
Full bodied and a long boozy, bitter=sweet chocolate finish.
