the name is the best part of this, pretty amateur beers here in our experience, and paired with the awful service, this place is not high on my revisit list. this is a rather generic blonde type, a little denser feeling, obviously unfiltered, and a little bit off in the ferment to me, soapy and faintly tangy. for this having as much body as it does for the style, which is still lighter medium, the malt flavor is lacking to me, its one note, sort of subdued, and not standing out at all as either fresh or unique in any way. the hops are really mild, so this struggles to finish, a little more snap at the end would crisp this up and add some refreshment value, but the real thing that drags this down for me is the ferment, the yeast seems stressed, maybe some combination of it being under pitched and run too warm, it stays on the tongue, and comes across metallic and even kind of mildewy on the swallow. i wanted to like this place, even kind of did, but the combination of the below average beer and the being totally ignored by multiple employees at different occasions kind of sunk it for me. not sure i will be back...
