Comes to the table in a snifter a mostly clear dark golden/amber color with a smallish head that didn't last very long. Aromas of caramel and lots of dark fruits and more than enough alcohol. The flavor is sweet with caramel and sugary malts offset with some dark fruits and melanoids. Medium to thick body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet sticky mouthfeel and plenty of warming alcohol. I liked this as a sipper, it was really tasty but at time the alcohol did get a bit harsh.
