Choco-Good Oatmeal Stout

This chocolate-oatmeal stout poured an opaque, black color (hints of brown at the edges) with light brown foam. The smell was a mild, dark-malty aroma with a touch of oatmeal sweetness. The taste was slightly sweet, with flavors of dark malt, coffee, cocoa, and tangy hops in the finish. The flavor actually seemed a bit better in the tap version as compared to the cask version. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy with medium-full body and no carbonation. Initially a bit sweet, but with a dry finish. This was an easy to drink stout, and I liked the tap version slightly better than the cask on this visit.
