On tap at the source.
Comes to the table in a dimpled mug a medium amber color with a thinnish white head that was almost gone before I could get my hands on the glass. Smells of spicy floral hops, pilsner malt and a hint of sweet bready malt. The flavor comes mostly from the pilsner malt with just a hint of bready caramel sweetness that are countered with a bitter spicy hop bite. Medium to light body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet spicy mouthfeel. This one was only ok for me. It felt more like a bohemian pilsner as it was hoppy for the style and seemed to be missing that burnt sugary melanoid malt flavor that the best examples of a marzen have.

Poured on-tap and served in a beer stein, the beer is a bright, hazy, orange-copper coloring with a tall, frothy, light, white head that slowly settles out into a filmy coating. Light roasted and spiced aromas with a grainy backbone. The flavors are biscuity and toffee sweet, with a sharp, bitter overtone. Slight citrus highlights throughout, too. Bready and spiced aftertaste, with clove and all-spice characters. The carbonation levels keep it clean and light, with a clean, crisp finish.

Clear glass growler filled a few hours ago and carefully protected from sunlight. Why did they choose clear glass?

Pours clear dark copper w/ a very thin cream colored head.

Very little scent. Grassy and slightly bready I suppose.

Taste is primarily caramel malts with a nice toasted quality. Little to no hop content.

Mouth is a bit thin.

Pleasant and easy to drink but not a whole lot going on.

A dark brownish amber beer. Has/ had a small beige head. But don't blink cuz it's gone quickly. A light grassy and carmel aroma. Some carmel sweetness at the start. Finishes with a light hoppy bitterness. How I came to have this in a bottle shall remain a secret. I have been wanting to try some of the other beers after trying their Saison out in Colorado 2 years ago. Not bad stuff.

From a clear growler. Tried as best as I could to keep it out of the sun. Consumed three hours after filled. I picked this because it was the freshest beer on draft.

A pretty typical Marzen style lager. Nice brown color, with no head and little carbonation. (Maybe there was still tiny amount of soap or some other cleaner residue left in the growler). Pretty nice malt aroma with a sweet, earthy front.

All in all, a nice local beer to enjoy an a fall day in New Hampshire.

This lager poured a dark copper; much darker than a typical German O-Fest. It was clear, with a thin white head, and a bit of wispy lace. Aroma was mild and exhibited some toasty malt....but again it was mild. Body had a good medium viscosity, and it passed fairly smoothly on the tongue. Upon tasting this O-Fest I thought I was drinking a Smutty Big Bier O-Fest! Quite similar!! Semi-sweet, with caramel flavor and an almost crystal-like lean to it. I very much enjoy the nice, slightly fruity and lasting hop zing at the finish. A real good combo of a solid malt foundation and a flavorful hop background. As it warms, some chocolate notes start to allow themselves to be tasted and enjoyed. Easily quaffable.... a nice lager from Greg at M's! Would like to try this in a litre mug!!! Zum Wohl!!
