This light golden ale has an attractive, although porous head. It doesn?t have much of an aroma, the faint grassy scents aren't enticing, but didn't put me off. The flavors are buttery pine. There isn't much complexity. There also isn't much of a malt backbone. When I was at Martha's they were calling this a pale ale but I'm not sure if they've tried redefining it or if the blackboard was just inaccurate. It was a light bodied beer, and seemed to have an average mouthfeel for a British interpretation.

The brew came to me as a light amber color with a big bubble head that did not last long and left a lace that was thick.
The weak smell of hops and malt the beer just doesn't have the kick I would like.
The flavor is more of the same as the aroma week and watered down. I am not very impressed with this offering.

Had this new brew last night while out dining with Alewife and the "chillun". It has a light copper color, is clear throughout, with a very thin, white head and a touch of lace. Aroma very much on the mild side, with a suggestion of floral hops wafting about. Body was just about into the medium class, and it felt fairly smooth tongue-wise. Flavor has a bit of light, toasty malt, but is dominated by a fruity, floral hop character. It's a touch grapefruity, and that aspect lingers on the palate. Not bad.... Cheers!
