Alewife and I had some of this last night whilst dining out with the young 'uns....

Pours a clear, deep bronze color. Head is bubbly and tan, and holds at 1/4" nicely, leaving a decent bit o' lace. Low-level aroma, with some biscuity malt and a touch of sweetness reminiscent of brown sugar. Typically low carbonattion produces a very smooth journey over the tongue, though body suffers a bit, being a bit less than medium.

Semi-sweet flavors and maltiness kick in right off, with a slightly nutty touch to things. Smooth, floral hops appear at the finish, with no discernable bite or bitterness. Nice! Easy quaffing session-style bier.

Prosit!!

A creamy off-white sheet of head. Some lacing throughout the glass that holds its own. A darker brown in color with a bit of red.

The aromas are centered around a faint caramel sweetness; molasses and vanilla as well.

A very mellow toffee sweetness in addition to a nice oaky, nut character. A very 'simple' tasting beer that's actually quite good. Very balanced; little to none bitterness. The sweetness of the caramel, coffee, and toffee flavors is really dumbed down and gives it a nice mildness.

Very smooth and unobtrusive on the palate. Not too sweet and not that bitter.

A very easy drinking beer due to how light on the palate it is and its 4.7% abv. A very nice beer; I bet I would enjoy this one on cask even more.
