Greg says this is a version of his Golden Perch IPA but dry-hopped and with some oak added to the tanks.
Poured a medium golden color, with a slight bit of haze within. Head was short and white, and thinned rapidly to a miniscule layer. Lacing, though, was pretty. Aroma shows a touch of toastiness and then big, citrussy hop notes. Body was a solid medium, and it was quite smooth, tongue-wise.
Minimal malt evident in the taste...just a smidge. It's hops, and then more hops. Has a strong west-coast, citrussy lean to it. Not quite as sharp as could be, but that's probably the oak mellowing it a tad. Very nice brew!
Prosit!!
