Received a deep gold cloudy brew with a slight white foamy head. No real lacing. Lots of orange in this one. Surprised by the real lack of head here.
Lots of yeast, clove and tropical fruit in the nose. Some coriander and white pepper as well. Where is the wheat?
Good flavors. Sweet grain, with some yeasty bread and fruit and spice. Missing some crisp tartness to balance this out. A bit one-sided.
Another mushy beer from Martha. Undercarbonated, almost flat. Light enough to survive this, but just barely.
Overall, it drank ok. It was tasty, but flawed. Just needs some balance and better structure. Depth of flavor was good, they just missed elsewhere.

After a long commute in the hot sun, I was ready for a refreshing brew. This seasonal or limited release seemed like a good bet. This hazy golden ale formed a thick and lacey head. The orange peel and coriander aroma was enjoyable. The flavors weren't quite what I anticipated. While there were strong spicy notes and a thin citrus taste, the creamy flavors apparently derived from oats provided a dominant flavor. As the beer warmed, it began to taste a bit more traditional. I was pleased that the beer lacked the horrifying American Wheat beer flavor. I'm still not sure what to make of the oats. It was a very full bodied white. Drinkable, but I think of more fluid beers when I crave the style.

Pours a nice looking hazy golden peachy color, medium white head which leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is sour, hints of citrus with orange and lemon. Flavor is crisp, sour, lemony and orange. Body is medium. A fairly decent representation of the style, but not much above what I would call average.

Poured a bright, golden color, a touch hazy, with a fine, white head. The head remained small throughout, and left nice lace. First whiffs picked up orange scents, but the nose was very mild overall. Good smoothness, but felt a bit thin body-wise. Flavors were pleasant yet mild. Nothing really stood out. Smoothness from the wheat, and some citrus, but really no spiciness from the yeast and/or coriander. Fairly refreshing, but needs more, more...more distinct flavor and body, I reckon.
