The recipe for this beer was designed by 6 brewmasters from N.H.'s brewpubs. Our interpretation is a dark ale with lots of roasted malt and toffee, balanced by hop aromatics and a subtle bite. Look for other version at brewpubs around the state! - Greg

From Headbrewer Gregs notes, this is a bier is a collaboration between 6 NH brewers, and each brewpub will offer their own version....
Pours a deep, clear chestnut hue, with little sparkles of ruby shimmering within. Head was tan and thin, fading quickly, with ok lacing. Aroma was a bit toasty, suggesting some nice malt sweetness. Mixing in with this was some floral hopping, though no distinct hop came forth. Body was nicely medium, with a fairly smooth feel on the tongue.
Flavor does check in with some malty sweetness, with toffee floating around on the tongue. More dominant, though, are the hops. They are plentiful, and lean a bit to the rindy side of things, lingering quite long on the palate. Hard to put a finger on a specific style for this, as it is a group effort. If I had to, I'd label this a nicely hopped brown ale (though feel free to correct me if you like).
Prosit!!
