Poured on-tap and served in a pilsner glass, the beer is a deep, amber highlighted hazelnut coloring with no head. Aroma is subtle, with a slight nutty and caramel sweet nose. Flavors are very well blended, with a nutty sweet overtone on top of a caramel and toffee backbone. Slightly roasted, with a hint of hops at the end of the palate, this beer is like a melding of a nut brown and an amber. Smooth and easy to drink, with a slight lacing on the glass. The aftertaste is a slightly sweet, slightly tangy, malty blend, leading to a clean, surprisingly crisp finish. Tasty beer, and extremely easy to drink.
