Poured on-tap and served in a pilsner vase, the beer is a bright, slightly hazy, orange-copper coloring with a frothy, foamy, half inch of off-white head. Aromas are light and floral, with a touch of hops amongst the jasmine and citrus smells. Almost a melon nose in there, as well. Interesting. Flavors are a bit heavier on the hops, with a peppery and bitter feel on the outer tongue keeping all the other characteristics in check. Fruity tones on the palate, with some citrus and canteloupe blends that give a mild sweetness to the backbone, followed by a floral and crisp ending to the palate. Orchid and jasmine characters abound on the end of the palate, leading to a slightly sharp, tangy, and clean finish. The aftertaste is kind of tangy, with a fruit punch flavor profile that is very well blended and almost sugary sweet. Interesting brew, but a little "all over the place" for me.
