A bodacious, beautiful Belgian brown beer with a benevolence that beguiles the senses. Brewed and aged on toasted apple wood; molasses, brown sugar and coriander complete the package.

Sample at the Source. Medium brown color with a thin tan head. Some brown sugary maltiness with a sharp cider bite. Faint apple light astringency. This didn't work for me.

Poured from a cask into a tumbler pint, the beer is a bright, vibrant, nutty-brown coloring with no discernable head. Aromas of hazelnut sweetness and not much else. Flavors are smooth and rich, with hazelnut highlightsed by roast and spiced apple tartness and sweetness. The aftertaste is roasty and sweet, with a smooth, clean finish. Very tasty!
