Here's another one from the 2022 dipa festival that I just added to this Untappd subsidiary database :) over 14 months later. Here's to the good times.
Clear light amber appearance, 1/5" white head vanishes. Decent looking at first, but quickly degrades. I like the little changeup of Mosaic and Amarillo. Mosaic and Citra became ubiquitous, this just gives it a similar vein, just with more citric rind than flesh, like lemon, grapefruit and orange instead of just the inside of an orange/tangerine.
Amarillo is also nice for its dual usage, unlike Citra, you get enough of that rind/bitterness undertone that works better in the mouthfeel methinks. Everything amounts to a nice experience. The body isn't as heavy as it looked, drank pretty easy for 8%. Its in that middle of the second tier imperial/dipa beer that is totally suitable for drinking outdoors. You're looking at the real deal like George Jones said.
Moraga is such a nice town right next to hell.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
