This is very dark, but described as a Munich Dunkel. It's sweeter and heavier than a Schwarz. In any case, this is a very flavorful and highly drinkable dark brew. The mouthfeel is quite substantial and the whole thing is distinctly malty. Flavor of roasted malt with just some hints of charred grain. Warm and mellow and better than so many dark brews. I could even describe it as a Doppelbock with a little Black Patent malt. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's Brewing. Not dated, but I will go back and look for more of this.

Brown lager with a tall fluffy khaki colored head.
Smells of patent malt and chocolate. Mildly sweet but it smells like chocolate. No real hop scent.
Starts out mild and mildly sweet. Mild chocolate flavor with no real bitterness. Pretty much it. Mild Chocolate beer.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall not at all offensive, but not exciting either.
