Man its been over a year since I had this at the 22nd annual dipa festival. And yet, there have been no reviews. I'm tellin' ya, California has moved on to the parent company. Reap/sow. Anyways, I liked the name of this beer so I checked it out.
Pours one of those light bronze like colors that can mean some bitterness and caramel heft in a beer. 1/3" white head. The aroma popped mostly Mosaic, not the heaviest, a little bit of that woody Idaho 7 to bring some bitterness and whatnot. Berries, weed, rind.
The taste pushed just as much Mosaic, the weed and berries came through a lot more than caramel. Drinks much lighter than its SRM. Hid the alcohol pretty well too. Idaho 7 made it sturdy and bitter, but without that caramel grapefruit bind that can be quite the unwelcome throwback in this genre. Light stone fruit influence as well, didn't see that coming, my truly, truly fair. Dude, Trudie was some fun times in the bedroom to say the least. Everything goes. Internet sucks and times out. Its like an old school west coast ipa, but with Mosaic.
