Pours jet black with low, chocolate colored foam.
Smell is roasty with notes of cured meat, coffee, chocolate and Digestive biscuits.
Taste is roasty with a punch of biscuits up front, followed by notes of coffee, chocolate, cued meat and a hint of smoke. Quite fruity with a bit of bitterness in the back.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice surprise, a tasty and well made stout.
