Pours jet black with soft, tan head.
Smell is roasted with notes of licorice, coffe, maple syrup and some smoked meat.
Taste is roasted and dry with a hint of tartness. Notes of coffee, licorice, dark chocolate and some cured meat. Soft bitterness on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, dry and overly carbonated.
Overal, a decent stout, a bit muddled in the flavor and too thin with too much carbonation.
