Straw color, almost like filtered apple juice, and crystal clear. Nice dense head that never quite goes away. The lace is a variety of very wide streaks and micro-spots.
The smell is a combination of raw unmalted barley and pilsner malt. Very low hop to the nose-just this side of a Helles.
The flavor is similar to the smell although the malted portion is stronger here. Also the hop brings more straight-up bitterness. Appropriate body and carbonation for the style. The finish is a bit raw with a hop pellet bite. Long aftertaste.
