Copenhagen 4/6 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Very cartoon-ish can with a cruising gangster, a very strange palm tree with a demented wart and a beer shop.
Pours unclear luminous yellow with a big dense white head. Stable. Settles as 4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Massive lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and a bit dampened by the foam. Sweet pale malts mingling with fruity scent of stone fruit. Peach and apricot. A bit of citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
Quite sweet for an Indian Pale Ale - but well balanced and easy to drink. And I could look at the extremely detailed and wacky can for hours.
