Copenhagen 5/1 202. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. C. Graffiti-style drawing of a Monster Race including a guy with bulging eyeballs and a blonde under his arm riding on a small frothing car.
Pours opaque, slightly dirty, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable and fluffy. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, odor of tropical fruits and stone fruits mingling with stronger citric fumes. Some sharp onion and mustard peeking in. Mango and peach. Grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit sharp. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
A bit sharp and with a strange tang of mustard and onions. But then again - if you participate in a Monster race you should be prepared for these things.
