Copenhagen 19/1 2022. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A very crowded can with a carnival of ghosts, monsters, a fish-man and a rooster man in knife fight and a huge dragon. Armageddon indeed.
Pours opaque, hazy yellow Wirth a big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick blanket of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a weird tang. Citric notes. Peach and pineapple. Rubber bands and hints of decay. Grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Potent and flavorful. But I could do without the rubber bands.
