Enjoyed as a 16 oz draft pour on the patio at Cappy's Wine & Spirits.
L: Filled the glass as a murky russet red-brown, with no head to speak of, and minimal visible carbonation.
S: Aroma was all bready caramel malts.
T: Not as complex as I would like from a doppelbock. This came off as a barrage of caramel malts, not unlike a liquefied sticky bun, with no notable presence of any other flavor characteristics.
F: Quite thick and syrupy in the mouth, rather enjoyable.
O: A decent go at a doppelbock, though not exactly a standout. I'll not seek it out, but also not necessarily turn my nose up at it should I encounter it on offer again.

From the brewery via crowler in my glass.
Deep amber color with a nice thick brown head, good retention.
Taste is malty sweet.
Full body with a silky mouthfeel.
Very enjoyable.
