From the growler via the brewery in a snifter. This exceptional BSDA pours a
dark ruby tinged mahogany with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to a
thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows some nice light lacing. Nose of brown sugars,
candy sugars, faint coriander, subtle clove, dark fruit hints of cherry, and subtle
booze notes. Flavors hit it! Dark fruit notes of sweet cherry and trace strawberry mingle nicely
with candy sugar and light brown sugar dashed with clove, coriander, and light fresh breaded notes
with a dash of herbal hops. Very nice mouth feel; medium body, light effervescent carbonation, and
a sweet herbal finish that is moderately dry.
Overall----excellence from on of the best if not the best little breweries in Cincy!
Cheers
