In an old refurbished building in Saratoga Springs.
Noisy, hopping around noon.
Good food menu.
Bee menu and quality underwhelming.
Didn’t offer flights and wait staff was ride about.
Just came from Tree Houser and contrast is jarring.

 

 

really unique brewery here, and a fantastic place to hang out, a great find during our time back east! right downtown here. they have it set up like two different businesses, walt as a cafe, whitman as the brewery and taproom. its on a hilly road so from the street it looksl like one level, but from the back side its two, way bigger inside than it looks from the outside. cool old brick building, open and beer hall feeling when you walk in, an impressive list of beers, lots of cool fall seasonal stuff, and it was popping for their oktoberfest celebration when we were in. the cafe part is through to the back, but downstairs there are some more neat zones, another bar with a view to the brew house and plenty of seating, a vinyl lounge type space with cool rock and roll art on the walls, and it opens up to a lovely back patio with some greenery, picnic table seating, and then a blocked off parking lot with some bands playing, just for the day i think. great space for an event like this and we were lucky to hit it on this happening weekend. so nice outside, what a wonderful area to pass the time, down some pints, and catch up with family i never get to see! i loved the german stuff, the festbier and the oktoberfest were both on point, and i also really liked a clean farmhouse beer with sauvignon blanc grapes in it, real clever! less good were an ovelry hoppy blonde and an overly hoppy pils, both efforts at contemporary style benders, both a bit off the mark, but i appreciate the diversity and experimentation in here. food looked real tasty, they do detroit pizza in here among other things, but we had just come from eating so passed this time. really good beers in here though, huge spot overall, but cozy ambiance, neat decor, and solid service too. fun place to hang, some of the better beers in the area it seems. definitely worth visiting!

Brewery is in the old newspaper headquarters building, The Saratogian. In the heart of downtown, the building has a stately presence and a couple of dining rooms and an outdoor patio. A dozen beers on tap, the 3 I tried were solid. Professional bartender.I did not try the food.

Located in basement of industrial building in the middle of Saratoga. Nice place with two indoor seating areas and an outdoor patio. Decent selection,beer was food was average.

This place is a must visit if in the Saratoga Springs area. Specializing in pizza, plus some other good bar eats, this place has a big tap list with good variety and all very good.
