Lagered for six weeks and boasts complex notes of caramel and toffee with a hint of biscuit, pretzel, and raisin. Medium malt sweetness, balanced with a clean, crisp bitterness from German Magnum and Czech Saaz.

Solod version. Right ambery copper color. Nice malty nose. The grape-y malt fruit tones are strong mixed with the hops. Perfect balance of bubbles and full body. Good medium wet aftertaste.

Deep brown in color. There’s a fingernail of off white around the rim ta quarter of the top. The aroma is of caramel and toffee. I’m tasting caramel and dark bready malt. The mouth is very light and quaffable.

On the darker side for the style, similar in color to a Vienna lager, implying a healthy dose of toasted malt. Very good head production and retention; crystal clear body.
A good take; nothing mind blowing, with a decent balance of grainy toastiness and sweeter caramel. Hops provide adequate balance, without imparting much flavor. An enjoyable beer, and I wouldn't mind having this one on tap as an alternative to more well-known examples like Sam Adams.
