Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: light golden-yellow hue with just a tiny touch of haze and a thick finger of frothy ivory foam. Looks good.
Smell: malty with a slightly grainy sweetness and a light dose of yeasty character. Stylistically appropriate, and enticing!
Taste: grainier than the aroma would suggest; it's just a little sweet and definitely on the bitter side for a Kölsch (though not inappropriately so). Not too bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a refreshing and tasty Kölsch. I bet it would be even more outstanding on a hot day in the sun!
