A - deep murkey brown, nice creamy head leaves notches.
S - roasty nose, mildly coffee but wouldn't necessarily guess it.
T - roasty like the nose. Real smooth. Coffee is noticeable. Good brew.
M/D - creamy on nitro tap. Compliments style, easy to drink.

Usually unimpressed by this brewpub. The Coffee Stout was an exceptional beer. I have only had one other coffee stout so well put together and that is Peche Mortel, an imperial coffee stout, by Dieu du Ciel in Montreal.
Cup 'o Joes Coffee Stout was a very full, well balanced beer.
A- Very dark with a very nice head, was a bit darker than their award winning lazy jake porter
S- The aroma was not as present as hoped, but did give off a pleasant coffee aroma that seemed to be on nitrogen.
T- Phenomenal. As equivalent as the Peche Mortel, but did not need to be an IMperial beer to establish such a unique character tot its flavor. The beer was also very well roudned in terms of hops, in that their was never a hop in your face experience, but the well balance made it very pleasurable to drink.
M- very full and heavy. very characteristic to a full-bodied stout. maybe a bit more robustness would hav emade this beer perfect.
D- again, a very heavy beer. Making it tough to enjoy any more than two pints. this would be a perfect beer to bottle, so one could be pulled out on occasion.

A: Good pour, typical stout effect produces a very dark, espresso brew with a finger and a half khaki/cream head.
S: Milky chocolate malts, sweetened coffee, malted milk.
T: Mild chocolate that melds into a good coffee flavor finishing with a tart sweetness.
M: Full and creamy.
D: Really quite good, a hearty beer that requires savoring in order to have multiples.
