A: Copper bronze body, slim pure white head.
S: Slightly metallic, then moves to roasty malts with a whiff of saccharine sweetness.
T: Cooked and steamy malts that moves to being roasted. Not much of a hop profile that I can detect. Ends on a carbon-like charred note. A more toasted Yuengling, except an ale and not a lager, obviously.
M: Light to medium bodied with a light slickness.
D: I think a trip to Dusseldorf next year is in order to get a fresh and pure example of an alt to know what I really should be tasting and comparing to. Out of the American alts I've had so far, this is the least inspiring. But, for a rainy afternoon of baseball watching, this will do the trick.
