A quintessential English Pale Ale pouring a deep, bright gold with a lovely foamy white head. Through out the drink the occasional bubble rose up to the surface: a nice soda-like effervescence.
The aroma is of dry nutty malt and warm, orange-like hops.
It tasted very good: light in body and flavor but not watery. The hops were present but mellow and blending well with the toasty flavor in the malt. A strong representation of typical (if not more pronounced) English flavors.
It leaves a very crisp, clean mouthfeel. As soon as you take a sip, you feel like another one. It is very drinkable and the light flavor and feel combined with moderate alcohol makes for a great sipping beer.
