This was the one beer from the Long Valley Brewery that wasn't perfectly clear. It was light brown in color, similar to their house brown, but slightly hazy. It had a rich, white, creamy head (nitro, duh). There was an interesting aroma that I didnt see coming. It was sort of spicy, like clove and nutmeg, but not the estery way I expect from other styles. Overall, this was a pretty nondescript brown ale. It did however get a little grainy and bready as it warmed. I would like to try it again and give it another shot. I'm not sure why though, I guess I'm just a nice guy.
This beer was named for the many bridges found in industrial Northern England. Uhhh, OK.
