In half of a gas station building along the river but that description does it a little disservice as inside its cozy, and there is a little beer garden space along side it. Front wall has an overhead door that I assume is open in nice weather. Small serving bar, and some long communal tables. Brewing setup in the back. 8 beers on draft plus a cask beer engine. Had the Rye Mild and the Irish Stout, both great. I like the vibe. Friendly bartenders

This is a delightful, small brewery located in one of my favorite towns on the Jersey side of the Delaware River. It's located a short walk from the main street and shares a building with a gas/service station. You have to be careful when parking; read the website which gives directions. There is both indoor and outdoor seating although during the COVID pandemic the seating is outdoors. The patrons represent a mix of locals and craft beer aficionados who have sought out the brewery. It's a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and willing to discuss the beer with you. There is a nice selection, including some unusual styles. When I visited they served a "tavern style" English Stout on cask in a mug and a smoked Helles Lager, among other selections. If you enjoy walking along the river in a relaxed atmosphere, then Stockton is a great place and after your walk I recommend a visit to Odd Bird Brewing.

Considered now perhaps my favorite "local" (read: within 30 minutes) brewery since moving to New Jersey. An absolutely gorgeous, yet quaint indoor and outdoor space. On this particular day, outdoor seating was not available (which I believe is now), but planned to take Crowlers how anyway. Of all of the selections picked up, the German Pilsner and E.S.B. were simply sublime. Genuine and caring people, well-made beers without snobbery, and a cool little outdoor space have made Odd Bird, for me, a go-to for local craft beer in New Jersey.

A very small brewery, set up in literally a garage, in lovely Stockton NJ, near New Hope PA. Run by the owners/brewers Adam and Karen. Adam told us that somehow, even though they opened in February 2020 just before the coronavirus debacle, they got through that year doing take out.. Well the reason is obvious, and if you are lucky enough to live nearby it's a very special brewery, so go over immediately and start supporting it, because these people know what they're doing when it comes to making beers, especially the IPAs, and the lagers. Kudos! (Now if only they can increase their parking somehow… it won't be long before they will have to move from this very small location). This place is a winner!
