Appearance - The beer poured a dark brown color with some visible carbonation, and a tan head crowning the glass.
Smell - coconut was evident amid the roasted brown malts in the nose.
Taste - In the initial taste, sweet coffee is absorbed by coconut cookies that are dipped in the beverage. The profile is not overly done or sweet. It came down in an earthy, somewhat dry finish. The coconut was authentic with no sense of artificial notes.
Mouthfeel - The body was smooth with modest carbonation in the slickness of the adjuncts.
Overall - This was a very well stated coconut porter.
