Second milkshake style IPA I’ve had from these guys, and the best thing about it is it’s not very milkshake style. Smell has some notes of vanilla and milk sugar mixed in with the stronger citrus backbone, but there’s plenty of juicy citrus flavors on the taste and only a slightly dank bitter sweetness on the back end. Dry finish, light to medium bodied. It’s not great, but it’s not half bad.

Poured into a 13 oz tulip glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a hazy orange with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves a thick wall of lace with excellent retention. 4.75
Smell is mandarin orange, pineapple, guava, vanilla, melon, and apricot. 4.5
Taste follows mandarin orange, pineapple, cantaloupe, vanilla, guava, and apricot really tasty. 4.5
Mouthfeel is a big medium, soft gentle carbonation, a tad sticky but not dry, and at 7.5% ABV it drinks bigger, but is really easy drinking. 4.75
Overall this is a great milkshake DIPA. It is very attractive and the mouthfeel really stand out, but extremely tasty. Thanks @mschrei for this awesome can. 4.5

Released 5/27/20; drank 6/6/20 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy dark orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge off-white head; a thick curtain of lace.
Table sugar, orange citrus & pine notes in the nose.
Sticky medium mouthfeel.
Table sugar, tangy grapefruit & pine flavors. This is closer to a west coast IPA than a milkshake IPA, in my opinion.
They missed the mark, not only in style but in the unpleasant flavor. Permanent pass for me moving forward.

16oz can, date stamped yesterday: 052720. Hazy peach colored ale is capped by a frothy ivory head. Sweet aroma of pineapple and candied mango; mild citrus and pine. Flavors are sweet with notes of candied pineapple, mango, and Mandarin orange; apricot, peach, light caramel, and maybe some sweet lactose in the mix as well. Fuller body, ample carbonation, modest bitterness. A little too sweet for me, but pretty good flavors going on with this one! On a side note, I am a little confused about the "milkshake" title for this one - usually I expect heavy lactose along with vanilla flavors, but this didn't really have either of those.
