Pours an onyx black with minimal mocha head which dissipated quickly.
Aroma is all peanut butter and milk chocolate. Smells like a liquid Reese’s.
Taste follows with peanut butter front and center, sweet milk chocolate, maybe a touch of bitter bakers chocolate on the finish.
Overall a solid pastry stout. Definitely on the sweeter side.

Fizzy loose bubbles, head doesn’t really stick around, and a glassy obsidian surface remains.
Aroma is great, peanut butter and chocolate in holy matrimony.
Taste is way too sweet, liquid chocolate syrup, peanut butter cup, vanilla marshmallow, rattles the teeth with pure sugar. Creamy but thinned out by an alcohol burn. Halfway through it tastes like regret, and becomes a chore to drink.
Glad this was only a single, this one is a beetus bomb. Thanks to Lee for this one!

Pours a thick, viscous black color. Thin dark brown head appears then dissipates leaving no residual head. Completely opaque and quite shiny. Its not bad looking, just nothing outstanding about it.
Aroma has robust notes of peanut butter, peanut butter icing, chocolate, cream, and some roasted malts. It really does smell like a peanut butter cupcake - shockingly so ... that being said, the sweetness of this beer comes through even on the nose.
Taste follows the nose with rich silky notes of chocolate, peanut butter, milk sugars - its like drinking liquid cake. Quite sweet, but it does have some underlying roasted malts in there. Overall its clearly a "pastry stout" and it leans all the way into that.
Feel is somewhat thinner and lighter than I expected from how sweet this beer is. Its medium bodied, with bright, almost spritzy carbonation.
Overall, it admirably accomplishes what it sets out to do, including the peanut butter which tends to be a hard flavor to capture in a beer. That being said, Its tough to get through a 16 oz can because of the sweetness - although I have a lower tolerance for that. Well worth seeking out if you like the pastry stout style.
