L: opaque tangerine body, foamy ivory head
S: floral grapefruit, candied mango, peach, pine
T: full flavor: piney mango, grapefruit, tangerine, floral citrus, peach
F: creamy body, soft carbonation, hops burn the throat a bit on the bittersweet finish
O: wow, this is definitely an in-your-face Citra beer and I loved it. You’d never guess it’s 11%...until it sneaks up on you. Great beer!

Dark orange/tan colors with mild lacing. Smell is strong juicy citrus, slightly dank. Taste is tangy, citrusy, juicy, a hint of sweetness and a mildly detectable bitter undercurrent. Big bodied, thick, boozy. Packs a pretty tasty punch.

A: Pours a hazy orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Lots of citrus up front along with a heavy malt bill. Grapefruit sticks out. Alcohol present but subdued
T: Follows the nose. A mix of grapefruit and orange collide with a caramel maltiness that hides the alcohol extremely well. Still get a touch of booze towards the end. Finishes with lingering citrus and caramel
M: Medium-full bodied with low-moderate carbonation
O: A surprisingly well-balanced and heavy hitting DDH TIPA that makes for a nice sipper. Very citrus forward with the hops, which meld well with the heavy caramel maltiness and booze. Worth a drink
