English Brown Ale aged on Brazilian Amburana wood, lending a balanced winter spice. Chock full of notes of toasted nuts, caramel, and fresh-baked bread. Creamy on the palate with a crisp and refreshing finish. The way a proper English ale should be.

Canned 10/24/24; drank 6/8/25 @ the Yarchives.

Semi-opaque brown/orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice tan head; a thick curtain of lacing remained.

Peanut butter, mild allspice & faint booze heat notes in the nose.

Creamy medium mouthfeel.

Peanut butter & faint banana flavors up front; booze heat & cinnamon bite on the finish.

Too boozy for a brown ale, in my opinion, and also the Amburana isn't a great match. It's certainly drinkable but I wouldn't go out of my way for another one.
