Big modern building shared with a few other food and drink businesses in a newish entertainment plaza on the west side of town. U-shaped bar toward the back left and just in front of the open kitchen, seats about 20, with tables about the room and on the front porch. A dozen Polar Brewing beers on tap. The elk burger was good, although the fries were of the quality of "these were what's left in the bin." Nordic charges 20% gratuity, and I've no doubt it appears somewhere on the menu, but it clearly was not apparent up front and left more than a sour taste in my mouth... Pay your employees a living wage, and be straight forward with your pricing. I will not be back...

This is the first place you hit when coming into Bozeman from the south. New, upscale prewery space. About 8 taps and food is available. Lots of glass and open space. Service was OK, beer decent as well.

really neat spot, been meaning to check it out but ran out of time last time i was through bozeman. its in a large plaza in market type building that appears to house several other businesses, but i really didnt poke around. they are down at the end, and for what appears to be a new building, there is a ton of character in here. its got high ceilings, a sleek white look to it, a ton of natural light, and a shiny new brew house off beside the island bar. there is an upstairs area for private gatherings, a little lounge area with a fireplace, and an open kitchen with a big wood burning oven firing up when i was in. they do a full bar in here, the space is clean and bright with cool accents and a modern minimalist, indeed nordic decor and feel. the service was not bad, dude was busy but friendly enough, just somewhat disinterested, less about the beers for him apparently than whatever cocktails he was preparing. they had a nice list though, lots of hazy hops, some saison types, and a few randoms, i liked both beers i had, but didnt fall in love with the place over them either. i think the quality is there, and there seems to be some ingenuity too, thoughtful recipes, not generic, i appreciated that. the food looked awesome, so ill have to come back for that, but the taproom/restaurant space here is fabulous, maybe a little more high end than the typical brewery, but it offers something unique, and i had fun here. ill carve out time to eat next time for sure! well worth a visit when in bozeman!
