The beauty in this is its simplicity. Once the plan gets too complex everything can go wrong. If there’s one thing I learned in....F it dude, let’s make a big stout.

For our grain bill, we used some of our favorite grains from the U.K. and Germany. Then we watched it evaporate with a very long boil. From that day we let it age for 8 weeks while giving it some time to sit on Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans.

This is what happens when you introduce series of stouts we just can’t make too often with our little brewery. It’s called Walter. The point is we wanted the grains to do the talking in is this series. In round one, we used vanilla to complement our grains.
