Copenhagen 26/3 2026. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Dark grey can with a simple butcher's can as motif. Plain and simple.
Pours opaque hazy, pale yellow with a mid-sized white head, Settles as a thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet potent odor of fermented fruit and alcohol mingling with a sharp scent of citrus fruit. Mango and overripe peach. Subtle grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Potent DIPA. This Butcher could match a Tenderloin without any problems,

Canned 2 weeks ago. Not my favorite in the Fidens core lineup. This one still has that punchy pineapple and citrus character in the aromas but falls apart a little in the flavors. Weird chemical notes and maybe a little diacetyl.

Hazy orange colour, almost opaque, but not quite there yet.
Smell is as expected from the hops, nothing outstanding.
Taste is the same.
Feel is smooth and creamy.
Very good, but not as good as hoped.

A creamy and tropical juice bomb from Fidens. It is slightly more bitter than your average New England DIPA but overall it's all about the tropical juice and thick mouthfeel.
