Enjoyed a 12 oz pour while dining in with Da Boss on 9-30-25 for $9.00.
Beer was served turbid golden orange with a pretty good white head.
Nose was nice, got notes of strawberries, white wine, and some orange.
Taste was a larger but lighter pale malt base in which the hopping game me strawberries, white grapes, passion fruit, and orange. Back-end hopping brought some gooseberry bitterness; 6/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel was soft and smooth.
Overall a nice representation of the DNEIPA style.

Pours a murky orang with thick, soapy head.
Smell is juicy with notes of mango, gooseberries, orange juice, pineapple and melon.
Taste is intense and juicy. A bit oxidized, but the flavors push through pretty well. Mango, melon, gooseberries and orange juice with a soft bitterness.
Mouthfeel is thick, chewy and well carbonated.
Overall, an excellent beer despite the slight oxidation.

Vivid orange haze. Nose is peach and soft citrus. Taste is peach, a touch of mango, and some really creamy melon. Very mild lingering bitterness. Soft mouthfeel. Well crafted and balanced beer.

Canned on 09/21/2022. Smooth and tasty, though perhaps a little less noteworthy than other recent Fidens brews.

Had on tap at Churchkey.
Nothing bad; nothing stood out.
Enjoyed but just another good NEDIPA.

I call it like I see it: Hank Aaron is the career home run champion, and Mike “I broke my back” Tyson is the greatest boxer to have ever lived. And what I see in Illuminating Serenity is so far from being a real beer, that I think it would be better off served at your local senior center during bingo. It looks like the California sky during one of our many forest fires, and it hits the palate like a .99 cent store orange that was on sale for .89 cents because it was over ripe. Tell me this is a beer, and I’ll tell you Dolly Parton’s coconuts are the real deal.
Hush.

This one pours a very hazy golden yellow color, with a small fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like melon, pineapple, candied lemon, mango, and orange.
This is very, very nice. There's a nice soft juicy melon character to this one, with pineapple, lemon rind, guava, and pink grapefruit. There's just a hint of bitterness as well.
This is light bodied, clean, crisp, and pretty creamy, with a great drinkability.
I really don't care much about IPAs anymore, but Fidens' beers kind of bring me back to how I felt when I first tried Congress Street, Haze, Double Galaxy, or Swish all those years ago.
