Completely opaque milky dirty blonde under a web of sticky, cathedral lace; lime zest, lemongrass, cut grass, green Pixie sticks, hop leaf + lemon verbena on the nose; peach cobbler, lime curd, chunks of pineapple, bits of basil, light ganga, and some grass; silky, medium, slight burn, no bitterness.

Motueka
3 days in the can.
Total knockout in the glass - pours like it’s 2017 and smells like a farmer’s market of fresh green flavours.
On the palate it’s a checklist of Motueka notes; citrus, herb, tropical. The surprise is that the signature lime is not bigger; instead it’s another player in a complicated dance. That’s probably for the best; it would be too predictable for a single hop of this particular variety.
Impressive once again the craftsmanship here: subtle esters, pillowy body, all the late hop brightness. It’s Trillium before they expanded. As brewers increasingly realize how hard it is to do NEIPAs, this is refreshingly true to form.
The only knock on it is that it’s a bit muted. OK, IPA is not DIPA, and this is certainly putting drinkability to the fore. But 7% is not so far from 8%, so a bit more punch + less nuance wouldn’t go amiss.
But an expert single hop NEIPA.
Fidens just win.

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and a lemon-lime citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a lemony-orange citrus-dank finish. Beautiful color! And, this is so soft and creamy on the palate for a single! Fantastic!

Very hazy.No aroma. Like most of their beers burns early and onward.lasting looks. Can from their source, but tap didn't seem to make a difference. Quaffable.

From a 16oz can dated 06/19/2023. A lovely NE IPA. Nicely balanced between tropical fruit and hoppy bitterness.

Nice hazy IPA. Not my favorite Fidens I've had so far, but that may be down to the hops. Still, a very good beer.
