3 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a full and hazy dark yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves a thick layer of lacing. A few very fine floaters visible.
S: Ripe peach, pineapple and white grapes. Slightly alcoholic.
T: Sweet notes of guava, red berries and pineapple paired with zesty orange and grapefruit. Sharp and slightly boozy body followed by a bitter finish.
F: Full and juicy. Low carbonation. Quite sharp and tingling.
O: Not your typical Citra-forward IPA. Instead of the expected citrusy notes, ripe tropical fruits are dominating here, which can be attributed to the Southern Passion variety. Very interesting combination that doesn’t drink as smoothly as other Fidens IPAs with its sharp and zesty edges. However, it‘s a great beer showcasing once again the extraordinary quality of the breweries hoppy beers.
