6 weeks old. Can to wine glass.
Look: Pours a full and hazy yellow with a pillowy white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. No floaters.
Smell: Fresh lemon and grapefruit paired with hints of white grapes and apricot.
Taste: Citrusy with notes of orange and grapefruit, as well as white grapes and yellow stone fruits. Medium sweetness and slightly bitter.
Feel: Very smooth and creamy, but still full and even a bit sharp.
Overall: Once again a masterfully crafted Pale Ale from Fidens combining all the qualities I expect from this style. Not just a lighter IPA (which too often is the case) but rather defining a category of its own. This is top-notch stuff with only 5.2%. My god!
