Sweet tropical Simcoe hoppy, white wine grape, and a hint of grapefruit citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a pineapple trop-hoppy and slightly muddled citrus bitter finish. This is definitely Simcoe dominant with the Nelson taking a back seat on the palate...and the overall hop expression is a touch muted as well IMO. Also, this is a little thinner than most Fidens as I have gotten used too their world-class mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Fully opaque maize with an off-white foam head that retains well and clings in delicate doily lacing.
Definitely more potent of simcoe than nelson, yet fairly spicy, it's also tropical and citrusy but finishes with a cottonmouth chew.
The medium-light body has a sharpness that builds to an almost aspirin quality before that chewy, chewy finish.
Not quite up to the hype bar that beer geeks have set for Fidens, it reminds me of Monkish in more ways than one.
