From a 16oz can dated 09/14…2023. The label says Mosaic - Citra with an 8.4% abv. This may or may not be a slightly different brew than one listed in BeerAdvocate with Citra and Mosaic but with an 8.0% abv. Regardless, this is an excellent NE DIPA. Lovely nose and palate of tropical fruit, along with very nice hoppy resins. Smooth finish.

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, orange juicy citrus, and hint of Mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a tropical hoppy, slightly malty, and an orange-grapefruit citrus bitter finish. This is my first Fidens where the finish falls a little short...also, this one is more medium-bodied than I am used to from them. Still good stuff!

Appearance: Pours a very cloudy goldenstraw with a two finger head; strong retention and a curtain of lacing
Smell: Bright and juicy aromatics with orange, pineapple, passionfruit and lime tones supported by sugar cookie malt
Taste: Orange and pineapple forward with the sugar cookie malt supporting underneath; through the middle the lime and passionfruit and a robust bitterness that finishes sharply but doesn't overwhelm the sweeter tropical fruit flavors
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body; somewhat creamy with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: I am incredibly impressed here as this pushes all my buttons for the style
Thanks, devoured_by_vermin, for the opportunity

Pours a hazy pineapple color with a creamy oatmeal colored head that grips the glass. Dank citrus on the nose, with tangerine, pineapple, passion fruit, and lime.
The lime and passion fruit are forward on the taste, with tangerine and pineapple mid-palate and some creamy oats for balance. Delicious stuff.
The mouthfeel is full and pillowy, spot on for the style. These guys do the dank juice bomb exceptionally well, IMHO, and this beer is another example of their prowess in that space.
