Clear straw yellow in color with a white head. Nose is pure dankness, pine and citrus, maybe some berry. Taste is pine, citrus, bread and dank. Nice bitterness on palate.

Sweet and piney tropical hoppy, prominent blueberry, and hint of citrus, and a Mosaic-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a clean and light, piney hoppy bitter finish. Despite the fact that this is not in Fidens' wheelhouse, it looks the part and smells the part...it could, however, pack a little more hop punch on the palate. Outside of that, this is well-done and good!

16oz. Can into a Lost Abbey teku.
Pours a bright goldenrod. 0.5 finger foamy white head that evaporates. Minimal, stringy lace. Nose is pine, citrus, grapefruit, and cane sugar. This is fresh but there's a New England-y sweetness here that's not all too appropriate. Beer opens grapefruit, pine, and citrus. Again, there's a mellow cane sugar sweetness. More grass and hop resin at the end. Minimal bitterness but still great balance. Body is light to medium with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down dry.
East coast brewery makes a West Coast IPA but really can't help itself. It's a good attempt and a solid beer overall but this isn't a West coast IPA.
