A very tasty West Coast India Pale Ale that is a little bit maltier than I like but with enough hops to balance it nicely. The Citra hops are hard to mistake and offer a wonderful aroma and bitterness too.

2 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours a hazy dark yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates rather quickly leaving a bit of lacing. No floaters.
S: Light notes of sweet citrus fruits and ripe tropical fruits.
T: Hoppy tropical fruits and sweet citrus fruits on the one side, piney, resinous and grassy notes on the other side. First sweet, then bitter.
F: Full and crushable at the same time. Medium carbonation. Slightly sticky.
O: Even though it’s supposed to be a West Coast IPA, it feels more like an East Coast/ West Coast hybrid and, as mentioned before, there‘s definitely an Alchemist vibe here. Unfortunately, the Nelson hops get a bit lost behind the strong resinous notes. Overall a very good beer.

Hazy orange yellow appearance with a white foamy moist head. Citrus, grapefruit, apricot, hops, pine. Thick mouthfeel, lively carbonation.

I disagree with the west coast title. This is delIcious and reminds me of a beer from the alchemist. Amazing tropical smells with a great piney taste. Perfectly done. Highly recommend.
